Replacing the bobbin
The running direction of the bobbin is indicated in the bobbin case on the bobbin.
1. Disconnect the mains plug.
2. Open the bobbin case by simultaneously pressing the two releases on the bobbin case.
3. remove the cover of the bobbin case and take out the thread bobbin.
4. insert the new bobbin into the bobbin case. The side of the bobbin on which the running direction is indicated by arrows must be visible after insertion. Insert the two thread ends through the opposite thread outlet eyelets. Make sure that the thread ends do not slip out of the slots in the bobbin.
5. Replace the cover on the bobbin case. Make sure that the latches on the cover fit exactly into the recesses on the bobbin case. You will then feel them click into place.
6. pull the thread ends and keep pressing the locking button until the thread ends protrude approx. 1 cm beyond the thread cutter.
